Create a PowerBI Dashboard
After creating the SQL Database with the Olist Datasets, the next step was to visualize the data on a Data Viz tool. After reading a lot about them, I chose PowerBI to create the visuals.
At first i thought it would be merely connecting the database to PowerBi and start dragging and dropping fields onto visuals and I would become an expert creating visuals. Oh boy, how wrong was I. PowerBI is not only a great tool to visualize data but it also has its own Data transformation tools, 2 distinct languages. M Language and DAX language.
After starting working with it I realized that the learning curve is very steep. But I’ll never back down from a challenge I create for my self.
So, this is the page where I’ll be posting my progress. After some days around it, I am in conditions of presenting something already.
